As a Business Development Intern at Openverse, you will work directly with our founding team to explore opportunities in the Web3 ecosystem. This is a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in blockchain business development, client engagement, and partnership building.

Requirements

  • βœ“Currently studying or recently graduated in Business, Finance, Technology, or related fields
  • βœ“Good English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking required)
  • βœ“Curious about blockchain, DeFi, and Web3 infrastructure
  • βœ“Proactive, self-driven, and able to take initiative
  • βœ“Comfortable working in a startup environment where speed and adaptability matter

Responsibilities

  • β€’Conduct market research and analyze trends in Web3/Blockchain
  • β€’Build and maintain a client & partner database
  • β€’Support outreach: draft emails, LinkedIn messages, and follow-ups
  • β€’Assist in offline events: networking, note-taking, and client follow-ups
  • β€’Join demo calls and prepare proposals & partner decks
  • β€’Prepare research reports and insights to support BD strategy

KPIs

Month 1–2

  • β€’Build a client database (50+ PT / 100+ FT companies)
  • β€’Send 15+ PT / 30+ FT outreach emails
  • β€’Deliver 1–2 research reports on market/competitors

Month 3–4

  • β€’Secure 3–5 (PT) / 5–10 (FT) qualified meetings
  • β€’Expand client database by +30% from baseline
  • β€’Attend 1+ offline event, join demo calls, co-create client proposals

Month 5–6

  • β€’Independently handle 2–3 (PT) / 4–5 (FT) demo calls
  • β€’Support 2–3 event pitches or networking follow-ups
  • β€’Generate 2–3 (PT) / 4–6 (FT) qualified opportunities per month, with at least 1 potential POC/pilot lead
