Marketing Intern

As a Marketing Intern at Openverse, you'll focus on client outreach and top-of-funnel growth. You'll research leads, run email/LinkedIn sequences, manage CRM updates, and coordinate follow-ups after events to help the BD team book qualified meetings.

Requirements

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields
  • Strong written communication; English writing proficiency required
  • Comfortable with LinkedIn, email tools, and basic CRM/spreadsheets
  • Persistence and professionalism in cold outreach
  • Interest in Web3/Blockchain is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Research and build lead lists for target industries and regions
  • Execute outreach via email and LinkedIn (personalized, sequence-based)
  • Log activities and update pipeline stages in CRM/spreadsheets
  • Qualify leads, handle initial replies, and hand off to BD for calls
  • Coordinate post-event follow-ups and nurture sequences
  • Collaborate with BD/design to prepare short intros, one-pagers, and case snippets

KPIs

Month 1–2

  • Prospect 30–60 leads (segmented with basic notes)
  • Send 120–150 outreach messages (email/LinkedIn combined)
  • Book 2–4 qualified intro calls with BD

Month 3–4

  • Improve reply rate to 5–10% with better personalization
  • Book 4–8 qualified intro calls (baseline-dependent)
  • Maintain CRM hygiene (100% of touches logged, stages updated)
